Jean-David N’Da is an art photographer, designer and author based in Abidjan. A self-taught artist influenced by the works of creatives such as J Dilla and Saul Leiter, his eclectic, happily boring, somewhat melancholic photography, although primarily and purposely shot in Côte d’Ivoire, is first and foremost an autotelic exercise evocative of universal emotions: love, solitude, nostalgia, hope and freedom.
